Why are Leads Important?
Are you satisfied with the volume of leads that you are generating in your Beachbody business? The fact is that everyone who is involved in a network marketing company needs leads in order to prosper and succeed. That’s the fact Jack!!! It’s a simple equation, more leads equals more reps. And when you have those, then you will build a strong, vibrant Beachbody business with a large residual income. But without leads, your Beachbody business will not become the business that you dreamed of it becoming. After all didn’t you become a coach so that you could help other people become healthier AND make more money in the process too?
Principles of Marketing – It All Starts With Traffic
Simply put, in order to sponsor more coaches you need more leads. And to get more leads you need more traffic. Traffic means getting your message in front of more people. In particular, targeting people who need and want what you have to offer. Whether that means setting up a booth at a health, bridal or business opportunity fair. Or it could mean personally contacting everyone on your warm list. It could mean marketing on the internet and setting up an internet marketing campaign that reaches hundreds or thousands of people through pay per click, email marketing, safelists, youtube, facebook, twitter, article marketing, or any of a number of other internet marketing techniques.
Traditional Marketing
When you become a Team Beachbody coach you lead by example, and you commit to doing a minimal amount of exercise. You are leading a healthy lifestyle through regular exercise and by following a nutritionally sound diet. You are probably hoping that as you lose weight and become more fit, that you will become a walking billboard for the benefits of the Beachbody programs and products. And you are probably hoping your family, friends and even casual acquaintances will notice your changes and thereby inquire as to how you transformed your body.
Many of you have been told to use the 3 foot rule and talk to anyone within 3 feet when you are out and about. And that works fine for some people who are very outgoing. But even for extremely outgoing people, there is a physical limit to how many people that you can reach with that method.
Internet Marketing
However by engaging the internet correctly, you can get your message in front of hundreds and thousands of people every day. The problem is that most coaches are not properly implementing the power of the internet. Most don’t know how to use the various internet marketing methods to successfully generate traffic and leads. They may be doing a portion of one or more of these techniques, but they aren’t seeing any traffic to their site. On the other hand most of the top earners in any network marketing company are capitalizing on the Attraction Marketing model.
Principles of Attraction Marketing – A Brief Overview
I can’t go too deep into all of the details of Attraction Marketing in this article. But the following will be a brief synopsis. One of the primary concepts in attraction marketing is providing value. You actually want to over deliver and give as much value as you possibly can. How do you give value? Some of the ways are by educating, training, informing, inspiring, motivating, warning. For example I recently read a blog post from one internet markeing mentor’s blogsite where he was warning and educating people about creating highly secure passwords on their Facebook website. He also had videos from his youtube channel that showed how to change your password. And he had a link to a website that generates a secure password along with a memory prompt to help you remember the password. This is a very useful thing to know how to do. That is an example of providing value to your readers and prospects.
Branding Yourself As An Expert
As you give away value, you are branding yourself as an expert. You don’t have to know a lot to be an expert. If you will do some research and then read some good books on subjects related to internet marketing, you will know more than 75% to 85% of other network marketers.
Building Relationships
Another core concept in attraction marketing is building relationships. You don’t just start pitching your business opportunity to someone when you first meet them do you? Wouldn’t it be wise to develop a relationship first? This would be like a guy walking up to a gal that he hasn’t met and asking her to marry him. She would start running for the hills to get as far away from him as she could. Normally they would start dating each other to see if they like each other. They would go out for coffee, go to a movie and do other non-threatening activities. Then as they got to know each other better, they would start doing more serious activities. Maybe she would invite him to meet her family. And finally when they both have fallen in love with each other, then they would get engaged. Finally they would get married and live happily ever after.
In network marketing, you have to build relationships over time. It’s a process. You have to earn the right to show someone your business opportunity. And when using the internet, there are tools such as autoreponders to help you in that process.
Become the hunted
When people begin to view you as an expert, then they will seek you out. They will want to join what you are doing. And if you do call them, they will already recognize you and be open to you. In some cases they will want to join right away. It’s totally different from calling cold leads. Essentially you become the hunted instead of the hunter. And the process becomes so much easier and stress free when you call people who already know you and who have indicated that they want to find out more about your opportunity BEFORE you call them.
